This Gelidus Research AC powered mmWave sensor board provisions:

- Highly accurate room occupancy detection.
- Unsurpassed sensitivity and micro motion still detection.
- By far the best currently available presence sensor.
- Object detection up to 9 meters away.
- 16 gate signal detection slots, each gate is configurable for motion and still sensitivity.
- Configurable min/max gate range
- Configurable binary presence output
- Easy deployment to any available receptacle.
- Uses only one AC plug socket.
Hardware:

- Compact 40 x 80 mm PCB
- 4 Pin ESP programming header (3.3v only)
- ESP32 BLE+WiFi module
- 5 Pin HLK-LD2420 socket populated with an HLK-LD2420
- Also supports an LD2410C with JP1 set at 5 Volts.
- Powered directly with US AC plug receptacle blades (110-240 VAC)
- Designed to insert into a 3D printed protective Radome housing.
- Print your own or add on a 3D case printed case.
Software:
The Gelidus Research AC powered mmWave sensor is designed to run on ESPHome frameworks. ESPHome integration with Home Assistant (HA) is ideal for providing a rich user interface. Adding the GRPS1.AC to ESPHome and HA is easy using the preinstalled captive portal. Using any tablet or phone that identifies a captive portal you can link up the module without any serial firmware programming hassle’s. Once connected to your WIFI network you can interface to HA using one of the provided install guides.
Safety:
Never operate the Gelidus Research AC powered mmWave sensor board without a protective enclosure, it will expose dangerous potential contact with your AC mains supply. We can supply a safety enclosure or you can download our 3D printable STL files for DYI projects.
